Sounds of gospel, hip-hop, spoken-word poetry and other performances filled the Sinnissippi Music Shell on Thursday to celebrate the anniversary of the end of slavery in America.
The 29th Annual Juneteenth celebration is a cultural and entertainment event with art vendors, food vendors, and games for kids. One local committee is hosting the celebration for the 29th year.
